主讲人简介：

杜清源，莫纳什大学经济系高级讲师（长聘），哥伦比亚大学博士，主要研究领域为国际经济学、宏观经济学和中国经济。研究获澳大利亚研究理事会（ARC）资助，论文发表在 Review of Economic Dynamics、Journal of International Economics、European Economic Review以及 Journal of International Money and Finance等期刊。

报告介绍：

This paper examines how international monetary policy shocks affect firm behavior. Using firm-level data from Vietnam, we find that a cut in the US interest rate leads to an expansion of employment among Vietnamese firms. The effect is also significant among non-tradable firms — those least exposed to exchange rate movements — suggesting that the finance channel, rather than the trade channel, is the primary transmission mechanism.
